Escape Room »Kitty Q«

Discover a quantum leap, stack waves and puzzle with cold chips

The escape room »Kitty Q - A Quantum Adventure« lures children, teenagers and adults into the extraordinary universe of Kitty Q. Whether as a family, for a birthday or with a school class - the mysterious box with four rooms invites you to explore the crazy quantum world with all your senses and find out whether Kitty Q is dead or alive.

The colourful »quantum apartment« is designed for anyone aged 11 and over and is full of puzzle fun based on real quantum physics phenomena. Different rules apply here than in everyday life, but you don't have to be a maths or physics genius to play along!

The »Kitty Q« escape room was inspired by a famous thought experiment in quantum physics. The main character of the game is the half-dead Kitty Q, whose tracks lead to a mysterious box. Anyone entering the box will find themselves in a colourful quantum flat with four rooms full of hidden puzzles.

These rooms must be explored in order to find the hidden riddles and decipher the peculiarities of the quantum world. With every puzzle solved, Kitty Q is rescued a little more from its half-dead state. Finally, the grand finale reveals whether the quantum animal is now dead or alive.

The game can be played in German and English.

"Cat Q" wanted! Her trail leads to a box with four enigmatic rooms - here, a famous thought experiment in quantum physics becomes a very real experience!

Teachers have the opportunity to awaken enthusiasm for physics and redefine teaching in the "quantum flat". It is modelled on the multi-award-winning app "Cat Q - A Quantum Adventure". The digital game is brought into the real world and reaches a new level. And the best thing is: you don't have to be a physics or maths genius to do it.

All 17 puzzles are based on scientific phenomena and applications of quantum physics, including donuts as their "landmark", the concept of chance and energy-saving cold chips for future computers.
