Editorial reporting

Photographs and film recordings for general and current reporting on the themes and exhibitions, buildings, collections and working areas of the Museums of the City of Dresden must be registered and approved in advance.

The press images provided by the Museums of the City of Dresden may only be used free of charge by the media (print, online, TV, radio) in accordance with § 50 UrhG for current reporting on the respective exhibition or project. Use for other purposes is not permitted without the express authorisation of the respective copyright holder. When using the press images, the copyright and rights notices provided must be observed and reproduced unchanged in direct connection with the respective image. The press images may not be cropped or altered. The images must be embedded on the Internet and must not be downloadable. In addition, they may not exceed a maximum resolution of 72 dpi and a maximum size of 20 x 20 cm.
