Fast facts, understandable language and entertaining insights into the world of science: that's a science slam. In a maximum of 10 minutes, researchers explain what they are currently working on and why it is important - and we decide with our applause which presentation was the best.
In keeping with the Frauenkirche, the focus is on topics that deal with peace in our world: from conflict research and sustainable development to innovative technologies that help shape a better future. In this way, it becomes clear how science builds a bridge to peace - in a generally understandable, surprising and inspiring way.
This Science4Peace Slam will be international! With slammers from all over the world, new, unknown and exciting perspectives will come together in the Frauenkirche to slam for and about peace. Therefore, some of the contributions will be presented in English. No translation will be provided.
