From 2 November 2026, the Dresden Technology Collections will close for an energy-efficient renovation of the building and the restoration of the inner courtyard. During the construction period, the museum's science centre offerings will move to an interim location in Dresden city centre. The opening is planned for the 1st quarter of 2027.
