The major annual exhibition of the PORTRAITS – Hellerau Photography Awards is being held at the Technische Sammlungen Dresden for the fifth time. This small anniversary is linked to a few innovations. The jury has significantly streamlined the selection of finalists for the international photography competition. Sixteen artists from Germany, Italy, Great Britain, the United States of America, Iran, Austria, Turkey and Russia will be presenting their work on the annual theme of »Singularity« at the museum. As every year, small satellite exhibitions throughout Dresden and a show of the two 2023 and 2024 Residency Prize winners (from 30 August at the Festspielhaus Hellerau) will complement the exhibition in the Ernemann Building.
