At the FIRST LEGO League Explore exhibition, young researchers don't dig in the sand, but in their ideas and uncover amazing discoveries - and (in keeping with the theme) in the middle of the museum!
With LEGO, creativity and lots of curiosity, 7 teams from Dresden, East Saxony and Brandenburg show how technology and archaeology go together: How do achaeologists work? What can we learn about our future from old finds?
The exhibition marks the end of the 2025/26 FIRST LEGO League season of the Dresden regional competition. The participants, aged between 6 and 10, have spent many weeks studying archaeology and building and programming models of excavation sites. Now they are presenting their project results to museum guests and a jury.
The FIRST LEGO League Explore exhibition is supported by GlobalFoundries and HANDS on TECHNOLOGY e. V.
